Andre MARIE bemmer | Solicitor

Andre’s background is in finance and commercial law.  He is a member of the commercial team in Sydney. Andre’s experience includes:

• Aircraft Purchase and Lease Documentation: Drafting and advising airlines and logistics companies on aircraft purchase and leasing documentation.

• Financing Documentation: Drafting and advising on financing documentation for aircraft, ships and development projects with both domestic and international counterparties and financiers. 

• Tender Responses: Advising airlines, transport companies and waste disposal companies on responses for government and industry tenders.

• Commercial Contracts: Drafting, advising and negotiating a wide range of commercial contracts including services agreements and charter agreements.

• Mergers & Acquisitions: Acting for companies on domestic and cross-border business, asset and share sale and purchase transactions.

• Corporate Governance Advising and drafting on shareholders’ agreements, joint venture agreements and management agreements.

• Projects: Advising and drafting documentation (including BOT/BOOT concessions) for both domestic and foreign projects, including airport and seaport upgrades and developments.

• Disputes: Representing Norton White’s clients in domestic and cross-border commercial disputes.

Prior to joining Norton White, Andre worked for a global investment manager and for an Anglo-American legal consulting firm on over-the-counter derivatives matters.

He also interned at an international business law firm in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, and has studied in Australia, Germany, the United States of America and Luxembourg.
