Renay Sumercan | Solicitor

Renay is a Solicitor in the commercial team at Norton White. Renay has experience in working on corporate governance matters, mergers and acquisitions (public & private) and commercial advisory matters. 

Expertise & Experience

Renay has assisted on a range of corporate and commercial transactions including:

• Private and Public M&A transactions including conducting due diligence and transition requirements

• Drafting a wide range of corporate governance documents including shareholder agreements, non-disclosure, consultancy and partnership agreements

• Advising on Aviation and Logistics specific agreements and arrangements including ground handling, service and supply (including master service agreements), charter, management agreements, transport and distribution agreements

• Providing governance advice in accordance with the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth)

• Aircraft sale, purchase and procurement, both nationally and internationally

• Providing compliance advice in accordance with the requirements of the Foreign Investment Review Board, including drafting FIRB applications and filings

Prior to joining Norton White, Renay worked as a lawyer in a national commercial law firm within the corporate and commercial advisory team and assisted in both high profile and private corporate and commercial transactions.

Qualifications

Renay graduated with a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Arts in 2020 and was admitted in the Supreme Court of Victoria in July 2021.
